So it's a complicated story, but I have a 2002 explorer that has a bad "pressure control solenoid" (thats what a technician told my dad).
Is the pressure control solenoid located in the solenoid block? or in the valve body?
The truck is having problems shifting from 2nd-3rd, which made me think it was a shift solenoid. My dad had a friend look at it who said it was the pressure control solenoid. He then asked me to look into whether the pressure control solenoid is located in the shift block, or in the valve body.
If anyone has any idea, please let me know, because I need to order this tonight. Thanks, Todd.
