I have putting a 2' lift in the front of my 91 and now I am unsure of how the shackle lift goes on in the back.Do I leave the factory shackles in?without them it does not level out my truck.I see lots of pics where the y are not even on the bottom hole.

The Warriors are replacements. The longer side goes towards the frame.

thanks..mine are like that but no brace inbetween.I am gonna put one in.It is still to low in back, I think I will order an AAL as my truck has 267,000 km and the rear springs are sagged.I just saw them on summit for $29.Thanks a lot Alec, I knew that with the factory Shackles on there it looked really scarey.I love this website!where else can you find out information you need to know from people who have done the work on their own vehicles! And allways in less than an hour!

warriors are very strong.... trying to add your own brace may be dangerous, most shackles without a brace are for much lighter vehicles than Xs and dont need to be as rigid...... if you do add your own brace, make sure a good welder does the work, suspension is something you dont want to have problems with when going 70 down the freeway!

there is a hole in the middle incase you don't want to go as high, I will put square tubing in and bolt it on and spot weld
