I am curently using 2 red top optima starting batteries. The question im asking is am i benefiting from this? i have one under the hood with 1/0 gauge wire running to the back to another red top. i also have a 2.4 farad cap for my audio system which consist of 2-12" subs and a 2400 watt amp. im just wonder if both batteries are being charges equaly with the stock alternator which i believe is 95 amps.The reason for 2 optima's is i installed aftermarket fog lights, subs,amplifier,4-neons inside.on the dash the needle is always in the middle and when the truck is running it reads over 14 volts on the meter.any help on this would be great!Thanks!
