It's normal, but u shouldn't do it again. When you engage 4X4 it makes the front wheel's spin at the same speed, and when u turned right hard your inside wheel didn't spin as fast as your other, causing the pop sound in your front axle. It's good to engage 4X4 every now and then to keep the oil lubricated, but try to do it on wet grass or something slick if you want to turn hard to avoid that pop sound, or just don't turn the wheel's very hard in either direction on hard pavement.

great.....

thanks.....i thought something was wrong with it.....also had a question about the rear wiper......when i turn it off and it goes down below the window it smacks that resting point really hard.....is there a way to stop it from doing that?

They tend to be like that... I believe in my house 3 of the 4 do it... the 91, 94, and 00... the 02 i've never noticed it...

About your rear wiper you could try remove the arm switch the wiper on and let it park the put the wiper arm back in the park position. It may just be one notch out. All the best.
