I think of some stuff like this-

If my saving $x.xx won't cause me to think about whether I put in was good enough every traffic light I sit at, (my mind wanders) I'll use it.

If using a brand I trust won't break my bank and allow me to not have to worry about it, I'll use that instead.

Sometimes it isn't a quality thing, it's mental. I'm mental. Some things it isn't worth me worrying about as often as I'll spend money on that particular part. :dunno:

I think it's a Warren Products blend, tight spec- I haven't heard any real issues with the SuperTech fluid though. I guess whatever your comfortable with, but the fluid itself is good fluid.

i used it im my taurus and only got 25k out of it, but i also put a used trans in it, and that may have also been the problem there

Would I use it? Probably not, but I'm really hard on my mountaineer and I want the best of everything. That being said the fluid is probably good fluid. Especially stuff like the mercon V, dexron, etc. The specs for those fluids are very specific so any fluid you buy that meets those specs will be fine.

thx for replys ,, ill prolly just go with a name brand , to be safe and spend the extra shekels for a name product ... wally price is 3.49 a qt penzoil 5.25 qt and i need 13 of them

Nothing wrong with Supertech fluids as they have to meet the strict requirements to market a Mercon V fluid.

i seen alot of posts about supertech fluids , there good of you change them every year , since transmissions are temperamental ill prolly use a name brand , dont want to drop the tranny again

So much misinformation out there that it is funny. It's your money so if spending more makes you feel better then just get some Mobil 1 Synthetic ATF and call it a day.
