The same crossmember fits 95-01 explorer 02-04 sport and 98-11 ranger

There are no differences between a 4.0 and 5.0 crossmember

The changes are at the mount itself

I need this Mod in a bad way!! The Atlas II in the 2nd gen is a heavy beast, and the stock trans mount can't deal for long. It could stand to use that extra clearance as well. I think I have a 1/8" gap currently, and when the trans mount fails, the driveshaft tells me it's time to change it. LOL

Thank you! I had some help from @allmyEXes knowing this Mount exists.


Before this I have been using the much taller aod urethane Mount which requires extensive mods to the crossmember. This one really just needs two new holes and some re enforcement of those holes

It sure is a nice upgrade for your heavy atlas, a 4406, or Heck just a worn out stock mount



Now we just need some better alternatives for the v8 engine mounts
