Okay I know I have an air leak and have ruled out vac lines and all gaskets tell you get to the intake from the upper one on down.
The X will not idle below 700 RPMS and that is with the Throttle plate stop screw not even touching the stop and the IAC unplugged!
Last night I did lose my MAF sensor and even after cleaning it no go ran butt ugly replace with a junk yard one I had here and it all better in that area again. Doses have a miss and ruff idle I have been chasing for months now
Have cleaned or set the
AIC
MAF
TPS
Plugs and wires
Ect ect
So taking a shot here should I replace both upper intake gaskets or just the top one?
Do you think it may be the bottom intake gasket at the heads and valley?
If I change out the upper ones only are there any special tools I will need say like some kind of torx stuff? Also should I also replace all of the injector o rings or just leave that gasket and level alone?
in other words help as this will be my first time going into a fuel injected motor as in tear down but I have done so many carb one its not funny same with bikes so doing the job is no big deal just want to have every thing I need up front as a parts house is 40 miles away and this is my only auto right now so running parts is not going to happen once I start.
Thank ya all.
