my vacuum distribution block located on driver side at the rear of the intake manifold keeps getting full of oil. i was thinking maybe the pcv valve was dumping oil into the manifold but i replaced that and it's still doing it. anyone got any ideas?

Actually its probably getting full of ATF and not motor oil. Are you losing tans fluid? Do the the vacum lines come off sometimes when you start it? If so then its a good indication that your transmission vacum modulator is bad. there are several post on here about it and as of yet I still havent gotten around to doing my step by step photo thread but heres a link that might help with your problem http://www.explorerforum.com/forums/showthread.php?t=164016&highlight=transmission+modulator Hope it helps..............Bill

hey thanks man, i didn't even think about that, i just naturally thought it would be oil being that close to the pcv... i'll check that out
