Vacuum line?

'99 Explorer 5.0. The heater control valve broke this evening on the way to a viewing. Didn't make it but I'll go to the funeral in the morning. Bought a new one and installed it but the vacuum hose that goes into the center of it broke and I couldn't see a place to connect a new one. It's a very small hose. I drove home without it on and the A/C worked but need to know where to put it. Thanks.

Heater control valve hose hose goes over to passenger firewall near fan as I recall, but I can confirm tomorrow if no one responds sooner.

I saw the broken line that goes under the evaporator. I bought a piece of gas line and fixed it. Thanks.
