I recently had the transmission on my '92 worked on, in part to replace a defective vacuum diaphragm. The engine was sucking ATF up and burning it via the vacuum lines. I was losing about 1 quart of ATF a month.

To make a long story short, as a result, the vacuum lines that are connected to the vacuum tee on the rear of the intake manifold are swollen and fit rather loosely due to extended contact with the ATF.

I can replace some, but he plastic ones that have a rubber elbow attached to them may prove a little more difficult. Are these rubber elbows replaceable (they don't look like they can be removed from the plastic line) or are these a "buy at your dealer only"?

I had the connection to the piece of preformed plastic tubing that runs from the engine over to the air filter break on me. I just replaced the whole piece of molded plastic tubing with a piece of rubber vacuum tubing. If it makes it easier, I expect you should be able to replace the whole line with rubber tubing. If you want to stay with the plastic tubing, I think that is a "dealer only" kind of thing, and you may have to replace the whole piece of tubing, instead of just the elbow.
