Hope someone here can help.
Background
Had to remove intake manifold to replace valve cover gasket. When finished went to check coolant level, approaching thunder storm, forgot to tighten resavour fully. Cap fell off on the interstate. Fortunately it stayed on the wheel but it overheated for less than five minutes till I could pull over-no shoulder! Put cap back added half gallon water and finished trip but AC stopped coming out the center dash vents.
Problem-
two red vacuum lines melted and separated and now I don't know were they go. The two lines melted by the ERG diaphragm on the air handler. They are wrapped together. One goes to the left side of the intake manifold by the brake boost vacuum line the other goes to large diaphragm unit under the brake fluid resavour with a Schrader valve(?) on it so I assume that it's part of the AC.
So which goes to the right fuel rail and which goes to the right firewall and I assume on to the AC dash controls?
Thanks so much for any help.
(I should have left this job to the pros)
