vacuum modulator pin mod

I heard there is a pin mod to help with the up shift and make it more firm where might I locate that pin or is this even true
 






Do you have an adjustable modulator? The pin is inside the bore behind the modulator. B & M has an adjustable vacuum regulator valve.
 






Yea it's adjustable but I only have the pin that came out of the stock vacuum mod
