I took my 07 Sport Trac 4x4 V8 Limited in for service today. I wanted them to do a couple of TSBs and replace a noisy door hinge. When they ran the VIN they said there was an outstanding recall on valve seals. Has anyone heard anything about this? I don't recall receiving any notice from Ford. I hope I misunderstood them and all they were referring to was the valve stem seals on the wheels and not the valve seals on the engine. When the service writer said it would only take a few minutes I assume he was talking about the wheels. When I pick it up I will get more info.
