My valvetrain makes a world of noise even at idle. Is there a write-up on proper adjustment of the rockers to try to hush them a bit?

There is no adjustment on the lifter/rockers. They rocker arm assembly is held on by 3 bolts and the lifters are hydraulic. If your lucky, you can just throw a Delta Cam rocker arm assembly with new pushrods and have it quiet down. IF your lifters are collapsed then it won't help.

IIRC the Rocker arm assemblies with pushrods is < $200.
