First i would like to say, sorry to bother you guys, i am a noob. I did an extensive search to figure out what shocks i would buy. I decided with bilstein.
Here is the thing, the front shocks are fine and on their way, it is the rear shocks were i might have messed up.
I ordered from Autozone (i went there because they are a Bilstein authorized dealer, i did a search on Bilstein website)
(last week) I went to order part # B46-2132(rear shock). I was told vendor is out of stock.
Guy at counter said, order part # B36-2135(rear shock), "they are probably the same." I come to realize that these are the axle wrap (axle damper- for the fith shock) which i dont have.
I called other stores (all listed on the Bilstein website ) and they tell me the same thing regarding item # B46-2132-vendor out of stock
Now that you guys not the story, will the shocks part # B36-2135, properly work on my vehicle even though I dont have the (fifth shock/axle wrap/axle damper) If so, i'll just throw them on there and be done
Should i return them and wait until the correct part is available
Or should i return them and install different rear shocks (the problem here is deciding which shock to buy)
