Venom 400 Control Module--25% increase in HP and Torque???

a friend of mine tried it on a 93 probe gt and said its worthless, but who knows...on an explorer it might be good. i cant imagine 25% increase though - for my sohc, that would bump me up to about 250 hp, heh.

The key to this thing is it says Up To 25% increase, not a 25% increase. That means it could do absolutely nothing. What it probably does is change you shift points and timing curve to try to maximize the power the vehicle puts out. I.E. it's like a performance chip. I HIGHLY doubt that it's gonna increase your performance 25%. I think they would be lucky to get 10% out of the X.

i agree. chuckyd, if i were you, id go with a superchip/hypertech chip/diablo chip instead. its more common, so if theres a problem you can get some quick solutions, its cheaper, and you know itll work.

I wasnt saying i was going to get it.. i was just curious if anyone has herd anything about it... but thanks for the advice and i will take it if i choose to go that route sometime in the future!
