Well I thought I'd share this ranger with you other ranger fans. The owner and builder lives accross the street from my buddy. It has a list of mods that goes on for days and is more capible off road than a heavily modded TJ.

That is definately a nice ranger...I like the solid axle up front.

have any more pics of the steering setup on that?

BTW, I have most of the main components for a D44 swap here if anyone is interested, check my thread in the for sale section

Yeah I have lots of pics of this ranger, but I don't know if he wants me to post them all. Sorry I don't want to give away someones ideas without their permission. I will ask him and if he sais yes I will flood the airways...lol

This truck does extreamly well on all of the hardest trails in moab. The only problem that he has is those rear traction bars limit his travel and hang up on everything. I have suggested a solution to fix and he is going to try it.

I saw that Ranger in Moab. Takled to the owner for and invited him to the site. The raduis arm setup is sweet! Its hard to tell from the photos, but the right arm uses Johnny joints on both ends. The left arm has a fixed mount at the axle and a Johnny joint at the frame. The owner hadn't tested it when I was talking to him (he had only finished it the day before), but he did say that he was going to have trouble with the driveline due to the increased flex of the new suspension. The truck is running a EB Dana44, 9" combo with a 302, C-4, Dana20.

Thats the one. His name is John and is planning on putting a chevy drive train in there. Oh well he's a chevy tech so I guess it comes with the territory :(

just lost credibility

LOL :D
