'94 XLT
Hello all, this is the jackpot of info for Explorers. I drive a '94 XLT. Nice little beast but getting up there in years and milage. I inherited this one from the wife so I have only been driving it for about two years. I don't want to get rid of it, good vehicle so far and I think I'll make it a "project".

My other vehicle is a '93 F-250, 460, 5 sp manual. Runs great but don't run past too many gas stations!!!

Looking forward to the Explorer projects!!!

Welcome to EF

Thanks. Where in Utah? I spent 3 years at Hill AFB, found a wife during that time, we go back all the time for the family - Roy, UT.

I live in the south part of the valley(salt Lake). Right at the mouth of Little Cottonwood Canyon if you know where that is. Its amazing, we have had a cold streak lately here, and some of the leaves are starting to change. They say next week it will be back in triple digits though.

So, your in the AF? Why did you go to Vegas?

I know where Little Cottonwood Canyon is. I left Utah in Feb '83 to come to Las Vegas - why? - cuz the USAF said that was where I needed to be!! I retired from USAF in '95. Talk about a weird summer, the month of June it did not get over 100 down here - very strange - but nice! So, we have been here since '83. The last year or so the wife (her Father retired from USAF at Hill AFB) and I have had strong feelings about moving back to Utah. I miss the seasons (born in Iowa), this town has grown too fast and too big to keep up with itself, all of the wifes family is there, etc. Still have lots of good friends there - many from the days of the USAF that left, have moved back. Utah has it's quirks, so does any other place. Time to leave the desert, I think.

Yea, Vegas is getting huge. Its funny because my family lives there. My cousin owns Mojave Electric. Its amazing how huge SLC is getting also. In my short time here, it has changed so much its insane. Well, whatever you decide, best of luck.

If you ever plan on relocating back to UT let me know. :) I'm a Realtor in Davis/Weber Counties. We do alot of military relocation.
