Got a 96 4dr XLT, 203xxx, 4x4 v6 OHV.

Just bought this truck for $600.

Has a vibration in the steering wheel & through out the whole truck.

Tires are brand new definity H/T's. less than 50 miles.

Vibrates in park while revving, vibrates during ALL acceleration & vibrates a bit less when at crusing speeds.

To further add, the vibration stops when I let off the accelerator.

Motor Mounts Maybe? Gonna investigate tomorrow all the usual stuff. Ball Joints, U Joints, Hubs, etc.

Just want everyone elses thoughts too.

I'd look at motor mounts, transmission mount.

Maybe a miss? Need a tune-up?

I had that happen with bad motor mounts: With trans in "D", brakes applied, would shake/vibrate bad. Switch in "N" and would shake less.

Like I said above, that is because the torque of the motor will twist the engine. With broken monts, the engine will rest against something metalic (in my case on a Ford Esocrt the exhaust was stopping the engine) and will make noise.
Open the hood and watch the engine moving while in park and somebody press the gas pedal.

It doesnt shake or vibrate at idle. We did test the mounts, I put it in D, jammed the brakes and revved it up, same thing in reverse, the motor barely moved.

Originall you siad: "Vibrates in park while revving"

If it does not move, probably the mounts are still OK.

Lets at this point assume that it doesnt.
