vibration/shaking while accelerating....

when my explorer accelerates is seems to shimmy and shake around 2000-3000 rpm. The shaking seems to be present when not stepping on the gas, but very slightly. what the hell is wrong. I know my bushings are all worn.....is it in my suspension or my transmission

I`d check yer ball joints first. Lift front tires off ground-grab top of tire-push and pull to check for play.
