I finally got some video of my Explorer doing some pretty light off-roading. Like all other videos with hills involved, it's steeper than it looks at parts. This road isn't maintained, and it ends up running into a sort of swamp area. There is a place that does Hummer H1 tours and they go through the swamp (which I've done twice), but I'm not willing to do that with my 2WD Explorer. :D

This is near Collingwood, Ontario (I have relatives who have a cabin there), and my sister and I decided to film it as a spur of the moment type thing after we went mountain biking. The trail is pretty tame, but I just thought it would be nice to have a video of my 4th Gen going off the pavement since so few videos exist. Anyway, enjoy.

I can't seem to embed the video, so if it's possible that a mod could help with that that would be great.

Awesome video ! What kind of tires / size do you run

Any other thoughts, guys? :P

I enjoyed that video, not much videos of 06-09 doing anything. lol!
I liked the ending part, that's when 4 wheel drive would've came in handy ;)

Cool, I would just stay to one side or the other to stay high up and protect from hitting rocks with the oil pan.

Thanks! I felt it was my duty to get some video. :D 4WD would be nice.

I hear ya. Any particular part you're referring to in the video (the end, maybe)? :salute:
