and when its just idle in my opinion.
But also, it doesnt sound too great when given gas. Still dont know if I want one though just for the extra power since I too have a V6.
Anyone know of anything more deep/throaty I guess you could say? When traveling atleast

Not with the V6, I say that the quieter the better with a V6 exhaust. I have a gibson and I love it, its a little deeper than stock but not rhasppy like the flow when given gas.

I am thinking about getting the gibson. Did you notice any mojor changes in power and more importantly fuel mileage with it? The sound is exactly what i am looking for i think....

Gibson

I have a 5.0L not a v6 but none the less I love it. I actually installed it just a few nights ago. It sounds awesome. The sound is a lot less obnoxious than flow master IMHO. As for power its night and day compared to the stock exhaust. Driving my explorer there was always that little extra umph that I was looking for and as soon as I got the gibson I found it. I averaged about 240 miles on a tank of gas and now I am getting 290-300. I have noticed climbing hills that the RPMS are definitely a lot lower than they were which is nice. If your looking for an exhaust Gibson is the way to go.
