Ok guys today I picked up my 91 X from the repair shop. It was at the shop getting a junkyard motor installed. Everything seems to be running great except for a bad burning oil smell. I think he just got some fluid on the exhaust during the swap. However the engine int the truck doesn't look like the engine I picked out at the junk yard. I do have most of the VIN from the engine I picked out however. My problem now is that the only place I saw the VIN while it was out of the truck was near the flywheel. Now that its installed I am trying to find a VIN number on the engine so I can see if they gave me the right engine. So is there any easy place for me to see the VIN on the engine?
