violent shaking when on highway

k i just replaced my tie rod ends and then had a wheel alignment done and now when i go on the highway if i hit a bump or something it will start to shake. sometimes its just the steering wheel a little bit other times it will be the whole truck. im not sure what it could be i balanced the tires and those are fine. does any one have any suggestions on what it could be or has anyone had this problem and fixed it.

Check to make sure all your front end parts are okay. Check the sway bar links. Check the shocks. If everything is okay, then maybe the shop screwed up your alignment. I wouldn't drive it at highway speed until you figure it out. And if it is a messed up alignment, you'll wreck your tires really quick.

Air may have been introduced into your power steering lines. With your truck running turn your steering wheel max left then max right a few times. You can be driving or not when you do this, your choice.

while you had the front wheels off the ground did you turn the steering wheel with the motor off, or force the tires from left to/or right?

if so you've got air in the system.

Air - left to right lock to lock a few times.
Very common.

Exact same thing happened to my truck after I changed my inner and outer tie rods. You should start by checking the power steering fluid level, and if its low, then top it off and drive in a few very tight figure 8's. I would also check the rest of the ball joints / suspension parts up front just to be safe.
