Viper Remote Starter: ESP 150 & Two-Way?

Hi,
This questions is not related to Audio, but I had my remote starter installed in a stereo shop. Maybe you can help me out.

I have a Viper ESP 150, which is only remote start with no alarm. Recently, I wanted to get the two-way capability, so I would know if my car started or not. The stereo shop said that my model is not compatible and would have to get a new unit.

I know they had a Responder with beige fob, and now they came out with the blue one. So, my question to you, is there a way to make the Responder fob to work with my Viper ESP 150 system?

Your best bet is to search through the internet and see if you could find an 800 number for Viper and ask them.

no there isn't. You could program the remote into the brain but it won't work like the two-way. It would just be a fancy looking $120 remote that works like the $40 ones.
