Volume control

Got a 93xlt. The volume control will only go up but not down. any one had this problem .what can be done about it. any one service these things. Thanks

there is a piece behind the keypad that sounds like the source of the problem. i had a similar problem with mine and that had to be replaced. i don't know what it is called, but if you can find a place that repair stereos, i'm sure they can figure it out.

P.S. get an estimate on the repair first, if you ever want to upgrade your stereo it might be worth your while to do it now.
