VSS on 2006 Explorer Limited

I am about to install a Pioneer D3 navigation/DVD system in my 2006 Limited. I need to attach the speed sensor wire to the VSS wire. Can anyone tell me where the easiest place to access it in the dashboard area and the color?

best i've been able to find is:

You can find the speed wire @ the PCM under the hood on the passenger side it's a purple/orange wire. It's in pin 1 of a 50 pin plug from what I remember the PCM has 3 plugs and it's in the middle one

The VSS wire is also found at the windshield wiper motor, pin 4.
