Hey Im Back from the sandbox and ready to get neck deep in this SAS....

I remember reading about someone using Jeep Wagoneer Springs on an Expy....

Ive searched SAS, Leaf springs, Wagoneer, Suspension... it says I have to wait 15 seconds...even though its the first search Ive done in 4 months! lol

Someone help me out here, I want to leaf spring the front end ( D44HD )

I found a kit that has similar specs 4"lift for a CJ5 CJ7 76-80-something....

I want to run 35s for now and maybe eventually 37s.

will CJ5 / 7 springs work in the rear? I can custom build the front.....

Thanks Yall any help here will be greatly appreciated :D :D :D

Well I did some measuring and the 3" wagoneer kit from Rough Country works for the Mountaineer as far as rear measurements go... so I got it, and Ill get teh front squared away, the best thing is that it includes replaceable parts by part number and the ft springs are designed fior a V8.

I also found my D60 rearend, already equipped with Disc brakes...all I got to do is install the ring & Pinion and its good to go.

I will keep a status on this running.

Yomie and I both have Wagoneer springs in the front (or, he did). He has 7 leaf and I used 5 leaf. I'd probably go with 7's if I were you. The 5 leafs are pretty much flat under the V8 and I bought them new. :(

Still do :o

My buddy stretched his jeep and was running 4" lifted YJ springs, i took 2 leafs out of his front leaf packs and added them to my front packs and it rides better now, still a little too soft for the Interstate

OK Im using a 3"lift system from Rough country made for a wagoneer with a V8, Im hoping this will work for me... is this close to what Yall are running?

thats Ft and Rear 3" Lift Springs from a Wagoneer w/V8.....
