- 2025 Explorer Platinum
Greetings all--
I come from a Ford family, with a grandfather who worked at River Rouge during the labor unrest years and a father who worked at the corporate level for a lot of years and leased pretty much every model that Ford released during that time. We had the original Explorer, but when I started buying my own cars I became an Escape fan, at least until they resized it down in 2021 (ick). Currently have a '22 Edge, but now live in wide open spaces amongst a whole lot of pickups and also do a whole heck of lot of interstate driving (with a fair amount of cargo), so am awaiting my first Explorer, a '25 Platinum. Looking forward to the wide screen with the new Google tech, the extra space, a tow package again for my bike rack, and Blue Cruise.
Now just in that mode of trying not to refresh the Vehicle Order Tracking Status site too many times a day. (looks like none of the first-off-the-line cars have moved out of "In Production" yet). Looking forward to learning lots about my new jitney from everyone here!
