prices include $10 install

EDIT:
or I could get
BFG Long Trail T/A at Sams
30-9.5-15 $85

I'd really like to go with some 30's.
Long Trails $85
Land Terrains $105

but I like the prices of those 235's

I have never had problems with BFG tires and got a signifcant amount of life out of my long trail TAs. So I say go with the BFGs. I really have no input on the others cause I have never run them. But you can't go wrong with a BFG tire.

I agree

for the price, that's what I was thinkin.
What ya think,
Long Trails or Land Terrains? 235's or 30's considering price differences? I am about 95% road, I just like the bigger look.

I just read that the Walmart Liberators were made by Michelin.
also
31-10.5-15 $88

How would a 31 look on a stock X. I don't want it to look too big or worry about rubbing.

I ran 31x10.5 land terrains on my truck for about a year and i had no problems with them. They seemed to be a well made tire. The only reason i stopped running the land terrains was because i went to bigger tires.

Stock it will look fine, but if you have the trim packages of an EB or sport you may have to do some trimming on teh inner fenderwell. But I ran 265/75 stock.

go with the bfg a/t k/o

Stopped by the Wally World on the way home.

They had the BFG Land Terrains 30x9.5 for $93. I need to find out if the $83 30x9.5 Long Trails at SAMS include installation. They probably charge the $10 life time install also, making them the same price.

Michelins will be around $120.

So, BFG Land Terrain or Long Trails.

Long trails will probably be quieter. hmmmm

Probably but I seriously doubt you will notice any noise from either of them.

I didnt get any noise from my land terrains. my coopers are much much louder. :)

For a road tire, the Michelin's are worth every penny. They are sooo smooth and last forever. For something that is a little more off road worthy, I would go for at least the Land Terrains or the Liberator. Personally I like having BFGOODRICH in big white letters on the sides of my tires, but that is both an offroad performance thing as well as a showing off thing :-)

hey,

i have the liberator a/t.

the side wall says its 4 ply tread and 2 ply sidewall.
its rated for 40,000 miles. the free road hazard warranty , and walmart's return policy make these (or any other) into a renewable tire. mine are 31x10.5.
i have no lift at all, and they don't rub on anything. they look tough, too. 235 75's are like 28.25x 8.75 or something like that. even upgrade to 30x9.5 will give you a little more grip. consider getting bigger ones, for what the bfg's would cost you could do it.....

just a thought.

see if you can find the michlin lt4's i have those they are great tires

Around here, Sears carries the LT4's. Thats what my wife has on here ranger. Nice tire, but I was looking for something a little more aggressive looking, and they're like $120 each.

I went with the BFG Land Terrains. Nice tires, I like the way they look, and their pretty quiet, not any louder than the Uniroyal Laredo's that were on there. After a little hassle, they came to $100 each, including mounting, balancing, road hazard, tax, and disposal.

I wanted white lettering out, so I get back and they have to remount them, then I get home and look at my reciept and they charged me for the 31's, $88, when I got 30's, $83. They thought they were the same price.
