WANTED: 2002-2003 Sport Trac Fuel Hardline from Fuel Filter To Fuel Rail

Under previous ownership someone had gripped the end that connects the line to the forward end of the fuel filter with pliers as indicated by the marks on it. The filter will not release. Broke 2 release tools and flooded the connector with penetrant to no avail. The fuel line is discontinued from Ford. Need it from a 2002 to 2003 Sport Trac built after 03/04/2002. Mine is 07/2002. If anyone is parting out a Sport Trac or doesn't mind scouring a salvage yard for one, please let me know. Thanks.

It's a long way to travel but I'm doing a complete wiring/drivetrain swap on my 2004 sport trac and DO NOT plan on keeping the original sport trac hard fuel lines as they are returnless style and the engine and transmission I am installing is from 1997 and uses return-style fuel lines(which I kept from the donor). I live in Apopka Florida. IF you haven't found anything yet, the cost to you would be free. I couldn't imagine charging you after you drive all the way from Tampa. PM me if you are interested. By the way, my sport trac was running and driving perfectly on the 4.0L V6 and automatic but I like V8 engines and manual transmissions much better.

it might not be the same but you never know, i have a line from a 98 explorer that i have taken off and will never use again. check into it and see if it will work

I have a line from a 2001 Sport Trac that I cannot use. It is 5/16 diameter. 2002 (built March 4, 2002 and after) use a 3/8 diameter line. Still looking for this line. Will trade this straight up with a 2001 owner in the same predicament as mine with my '02. It absolutely positively needs to be from a 2002-2003 Sport Trac. No other Explorer models.

The 2001, 5/16 fuel line I picture here is for sale, too. Make offer.
