I have the A4LDjr kit in my truck, but I didnt get the instructions back from the tranny guy when he installed it. I would like to get a copy of them. If anyone has a copy they can scan and send me or post it would be most helpful. I thought I saw a copy on the net someplace, but I cant find it- If you know where it is pass it on. Thanks

Why? Im goin gto open up the pan and I want to "check" the install. Maybe drill some new holes while Im replacing the rear servo rings.

Thanks again

What new holes?

A4LDjr - is that like a shift kit?

Sorry-

Yep, the A4LDjr is the TransGo shift kit for the A4LD .
The kit has a few shift feel options which involve drilling holes or adding pucks to various circuits to control the shifts. I had the whole kit with instructions etc. which I gave to the guy who rebuilt my tranny 2 summers ago.
Im trying to track down no compression brakeing in 1 and am going to change out the Low reverse servo rings, so I want to check his work, and also maybe firm up the shifts to the higher level, which should involve drilling a few larger holes- where, I dont know since I didnt get the instructions back.

I thought the instructions had been posted on the site but cant find them here or some of the Ranger sites.

If this has never been rebuilt

The reverse servo piston will be loose as a goose. I had mine rebuilt in 96 and didn't get the new double lip O-ring. It was really flopping around in there and had developed an obvious flat spot. I'm doing the entire rebuild myself now and found the rest of the seals still looked pretty good.

Well thats what I was wondering- whether or not they replaced the o rings on the servo, so Im goin to open it up and check. I thought that while I'm in there I'll check out everything else just for piece of mind. If they didn't replace the L/R servo ring, what else might not have been done?? , will be the question I ask after I take a look at the servo.
