Wanting to hear from people with B&M Shift improver!!!

I guess you're talking about the electronic one. I really like mine. Install is easy and it works well. Please use the search feature to look at all my posts about it.

Ditto Alec on the electronic version. Works great. Initial install was about 15 minutes, took me awhile to decide on it's final resting place. It's amazing what can been done with 2 wires and a switch. Hot rodding ain't what it used to be!

My shift kit

I stripped my torque converter recently and having the tranny dropped and down i decided to do the rebuild for a couple hundred more, Turns out that was a wise decision being that my tranny had some signs of stress on the upper gears, but anyway.... when they had it down they actually used a B&M 4r55e shift kit on my 5r55e trans. I cannot even begin to tell you what this kid has done for my truck. It feels like a whole new truck, It shifts so crisp and firm , and it just bang through the gears like nothing. I also had them install a motorsport performance valve body, bands, an adapted 3800 stall speed, and all updates from ford. In addition prior to that I installed a superchip which as some of you may know Increases tranmission line pressure to get that increased shift firmness, well i must say with these two together Its incredible, I HIGHLY reccomend this mod on the SOHC explorer sports!!!

Well, that's internal stuff and the other thing we were talking about was the external electronic dealie.

I have both and love them both.
