2004 Ford Sport Trac
I own a 2004 Ford Sport Trac with 200,x.. miles on it. Its the XLT loaded out. I want to get an exhaust kit for it and maybe just a leveling kit as well. Any suggestions on brands?

HeartThrob from JC Whitney is the only dual exhaust kit out for our Trac's. Gibson and other company's make a single cat-back system's. To level out the truck you can do a simple torsion twist 2" max if 4wd, 3" max if 2wd. Not much is out there to build up the 4.0's, Zabteck Technologiesmakes and sells stuff to add power and the XCal III Tuner from Unleashed Tuning will enable you to tune the motor and trans. Tell Todd Z at Zabteck that Jerry Gerner sent you and Torrie is who you wanna talk to at unleashed.

With 200k+ miles I'd worry more about routine maintenance first.

Honestly the best bang for buck power wise is a XCal3 I love mine plus you can increase trans pressure to allow quicker shifts and eliminate the car like trans shifting. Next best thing is under drive pulley and the random tech y pipe and high flow cat then run 2.5" exhaust all the way back to bumper.

I have a Gibson cat-back system, makes a V6 sound about as good as it ever will. Slam-dunk to install too.

I agree with Midnight Rebel, that is a lot of miles on a truck that is 10 years old.
When I was 19, I bought a '69 Bronco with 100+K miles on it. It was smoking pretty bad and I figured it needed valve guide seals ( those of us old enough to remember the 260/289/302/351W engines know that these engines were terrible for sealing the top of the engine) I figured as long as I had the valve covers off, I might as well pull the heads off, replace the valves, shave the heads a few thousands and replace any suspect valve springs and rocker arms. It ran like a bearcat after I put it back together for about 10 miles UNTILL the added pressure of the new top end blew past the rings on the bottom end and it smoked worse than ever!. Lesson learned? Parts wear out together, so any upgrade on one side puts added pressure on another side, whether that be the engine, transmission or rear end. No charge for the advice!

Well I have put a lot of money into the truck already. I honestly just need an engine tune up now. I have a new fuel line, fuel pump, drive shaft, bearing kits, new transfer case, and so on and so forth. So honestly after I get a little tune up on it, I was just wondering what would be nice to add onto my truck. I just want a nice exhaust (preferably dual 3inch catbacks) and the cheapest but not too big of a lift for it.

Also, will 31x10.50's clear on my truck without a TT and add a leaf kit?

I recently put Flowmaster 40 dual exhaust on my Trac and it sounds amazing. The next thing I wanna do is do the torsion twist but should get longer shackles in the back or just the whole add a leaf kit?

I just did the add a leaf and that's what I would suggest. It's cheaper and better for your truck in the long run.
