Warm heat

I have just recently bought two 96 Explorers, both XLT 4drs with 4.0 V6 engines. Since it's gotten cold, I've found they both put out warm air from the heaters. I found one, top rad hose is only warm, and I don't know about th eother truck yet, but I suspect both need thermostats.
Unless there may be another common problem these truck have, that someone here may tell me about.
If not, then I'll plan on thermostats.

you mean warm as opposed to hot? some people have had that problem, and replased the tstat with no luck.
