As a second owner of an Explorer is there a way to find out the warranty history on it through a dealer or Ford itself? I work at a VW dealer and just by typing in the vin# we can view all the warranty history on that vehicle no matter where it was serviced. The problem im finding is that most dealers dispose of their records within a year to two years and i cant seem to get any info from them even if the car was serviced there.
