so i just purchaed a warrenty from US Fidelis and i am wodering first if any of you have ever heard of it and next should i continue with it.

so here is the story i purchased the warrenty for 3 years or 36000 miles i pay 157 a month for 18 months then i am done paying they say that it covers major repairs like the trans and engine and pumps and stuff and i would only have to pay a $100 dollar deductible and they pay for the repair and i think this sounds toooo good to be true but they say its not a scam so has anyone heard fo this before

$2800 seems like a lot for a warranty. Do you think you would spend that much on repairs in 3 years?
My recommendation would be to direct deposit that money into an account and forget about it. use it for repairs.. after 3 yrs.. you still have your money if you don't use it.

On the other hand, looks like you have an 02.
Problems with the rear end could be expensive. The 4x4 module is a known problem too.

For my 04, I bought a 4 yr, 48k miles for $1800.
It was from Phoenix American out of Miami. You may get a better deal from them. I also used them for a 02 Taurus I had a while back... (they put a new trans in that for me - $2700)
The first year has paid for it already but I had some weird problems...
blend door in the AC - $800
Front pump seal in the trans - $800
Shifter cable - $400
I too have a $100 deductible.

Shop around.. I think you can find a better deal than that.

well i called them back and told them i was going to cancel my policy and they decided to take another 400 off of the total
