Water getting into the boot

Hi
can anyone help. I have a 1998 s reg ford explorer.the problem i have is water getting into the boot area. Normal driving, any ideas where to start looking for where the leak is coming from? Cheers

Look where the leads for the rear defroster attach to the window. Mine get pinched in the seal and let water in.

How much water is getting in?

Thanks for that. I have a rubber mat covering the boot carpet and it seems to be quite wet.

Welcome to this forum! Wait for a heavy rain, then take a look, and see where the exact location of the leak is.

You can also have someone hose down the car, while you're inside looking for the leak.
