Good afternoon all, I have water somewhere in my explorer and I believe it's in the heater air box. I can hear it sloshing around when I'm driving. In my jeep there is a drain from the air box to let rain water out, every once in a while it will get stopped up and the water will stay in the air box until it is dumped out on my feet haha. In my jeep it's on the engine side of the firewall just to the passenger side of center. I have looked all over for something similar in my Explorer with nothing found.

I think this is related I also have a clicking sound coming from behind my dash when the heater control is put all the way over to hot, it stops as soon as I move it slightly cooler. It's a constant "click, click, click, pop, click, click, click, pop"

Any help you can provide for either problem would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Brian

Clicking sound is the blend door actuator. The drain for the ac comes out above the transmission and is hard to access without a lift.

Both of those responses make complete sense, how can I resolve the actuator besides just not turning it all the way to hot? I'll see if I can access the drain and get it uncloged. Thank you!
