98' Sport
Started my weekend early winterizing the Ex. Below is a list of stuff done so far. Input is welcome. Oh yea, it's an 98' Sport 2wd in Colorado.

-New 235/75/15's studded snows in the rear. ($320 at Sears)
-New Bosch blades front and rear
-Flush and refill cooling system to 60/40 mix.
-Thule rack converted from bike to ski.

That's it so far. Would like to hear peoples thoughts and opionions on 2wd drive X's in cold winter states and how well they do. Have a condo time share in Vail CO in 3 weeks and plan to take the X. Let it snow!

add a couple "tube o' sand" in the back basically right above the rear axle on each side for added weight. you can buy them at home depot. i live up in larkspur and can get around most snow days in 2wd with the extra weight- it's getting up my driveway when i shift it into 4wd. plus if you get stuck you can cut open one of the sand bags and use it for traction. and go to harbor freight and buy a tow chain just in case.
