Weight? How much does your modifed rig weigh?

I still have not weighed my truck sense all the mods, and I know Rick said his truck was pretty heavy now.


So what does your Weight?

Mine is not extremely modified, but it weighs 5k without a full tank.

I have not weighed mine but i have a scale close. Ill try to remember to go by and do it next time im out that way.

Im gonna say its quite heafty but not as heavy as rick

A few years ago ours weighed 4800 lbs. That was 2.5" Duff lift, 31" tires and custom front bumper (no inner fenderwells).. and the normaly DD tools/spare parts (not the off-road trip tools/parts).

Curious: where would one go to get a vehicle weighed?

Truck stop will do it (not free, although I have heard if you are just curious and don't want a print out they might do it for free or for a discount)

You can also go to the dump will (costs $10 to get in around here so I sometimes bring the stuff in the truck, then drop it off at the dump and get weighted on the way out).

Also, scrap yards will sometimes do it for free or cheap (especially if you don't need it to be certified)..

Well weighted my truck today. With me in it, and pretty much loaded for offroad (missing fridge and only 1/4 tank of gas) She weights 5600 lbs. Not as much as I thought But still a bitt heavier then my F-150
