weird check engine light

my friends aunt has a check engine light that comes on if she does NOT use chevron gas. if she puts any other brand of gas in the tank her cel light comes on. i dont know if anybody has had this problem before but i told them i would post it and see what ya'll say.

Has she ever had the codes checked? We could provide a lot more info if she could give us the codes.

she got the codes pulled but my friend doenst have them. i'll see if he can have her put another brand in and get the codes.
