weird noise coming from the tranny ....

hey everyone, just purchased my 2004 Explorer XLT, i have about 20,000 miles on it in 5 months .... i notice that everytime i make a turn and accelerating at the same time, their is a weird grinding noise coming from the back, more like from the axle.... also, when i put it in drive and then stop, then put in reverse, the truck makes a jerking motion and a grinding sound again ...

sounds like transmissin problem huh ?? and in 5 months ?? did i get a lemon ??

id like to hear some opinions if anyone has experience any of this stuff ...

There were some TSB's on older Explorers about noise on turning, you might have your dealer check for an appropriate Technical Service Bulletin.
