So, my buddy brought over a can of Throttle body cleaner so I said hey, why not lets clean it. It was pretty dirty actually and I cleaned it all up and reinstalled it. It makes some interesting swooshing noises now. I have a modified intake so I am sure if I put it back to stock it wouldn't make the noise, but I just find it kinda neat that it now makes noise. Could be from a little added air flow or just less turbulence I don't know.
Just thought I would post this for anyone who is wondering if they should clean their throttle body. I can't say yet if it has really helped anything, but I can say it does make some difference,what that exactly is I do not know..
It seems like sometimes you do little stuff like this and it feels like it is all for nothing. It is nice to get a little feedback for your efforts.
