Weird problem with charging system???

Ok here goes battery light is on and voltage gauge is low . I have no problems with it dying on me and when i rev it the battery light goes out . I took it to advance auto parts and had the charging system checked it showed no problems !!! battery showed it put out 606 out of 650 cold crancking amps any clue??

Sounds to me like your alt is on the way out...same thing happened to my Ex's X. Do the lights dim when you roll the windows up and down?

was kinda suspecting alternator or battery but wanted some validation i was headed in the right direction

My alternator went out on me two weeks ago and was doing the same thing as you described. A rebuilt one from Advance was $150. Brand new was $180 with the same warranty as the rebuilt one
