weird squeeking noise

i noticed yesterday (when i had about 5 guys piled in the back of my X) that anytime i hit a bump or anything at all it would make a horrible squeeking noise in the back drivers side area.. have no idea where it's coming from, i dont think t's the shccks.. but i also notice (when im driving alone) if i hit a big bump i'll hear a quick squeek coming from the same area. the extra weight caused it to happen at every bump.. it dosent do it during regular driving while im by myself i dont get what it could be.. anyone have any ideas?

It could be the end of a shorter leaf rubbing against it's upper neighbor. See if any of the stock spacer pads are missing.

If this is the cause, you can just grease the leaf ends or get another spacer pad.

I have gotten this squeak every once in a while from inside the truck. The door that covers the compartment where the jack is stored will sometimes pop off. It seems those little turn screw locks are quite cheap, and will come apart and squeak while I drive. Check that as well.
