This ? is for my friend that has a 79 bronc that has 10 kc daylighters on it. He has gone threw two light bars and 6 lights because his light bars keep flying of his truck when we are wheeling. Should we weld them to the gutters or what. Any idea would help he has spent a small fortune on lights and is tired of spending money on lights.

I'm assuming your lr friends light bars are clamped to the gutters? Try throwing a couple of shee metal screw through the bar clamps and into the lip of the gutter. Take care not to drill into the actual roof or you may cause a leak. If that doesn't work, the obvious solution would be to reduce the number of lights, sound like a lot of weight. Maybe put some in the grill area. Welding, while more permanent, sounds kinda drastic and, well, permanent. Good luck.
