Were Heated Mirrors an option in 07?

I really miss heated mirrors-are impossible to scrape when iced up. I saw on EBay that Explorer mirrors, heated, do exist. I dont know if the mirror wire harness/plug will be the same, or if there is a plug somewhere behind the heat/radio control area for the option? Anyone do this yet or will I be the first? I'm hoping that the wiring is allready there and that I dont have to run new wires..... Was heated mirrors an option in 07?

Not sure about a 2nd Gen, might wanna post this question in the '06-10 ST section. I would think they did because the 2nd Gen's were more car like and had way more creature-features.

I'm pretty sure they were but to get them you had to have the heated windshield. (the heated windshield button activated the heated mirrors as well)

I have 08 explorer with non heated mirrors

I installed heated mirrors and they work without modifications to the electrical harness

they work with rear defrost

Sounds like I might only need a different switch assy. for the heated seats w. rear defrost in the middle? I have a pwr. rear window, so the truck didnt get r. defrost. I will have to pull a mirror & see if there is a seperate connector or not. I hope the 07 Sport Trac is allready wired for this, but I never saw an 07 w/heated mirrors as an option-strange...

I have an '07 Limited that came with heated mirrors - but I do have the heated windshield (which is also really nice) and I don't remember if they were bundled together.

Where are the switches for the heated windshield & heated mirrors on your truck?

The switch for the heated windshield/mirrors is between the switches for the heated seates, right above the console

Sounds like the wiring is allready there; I just need to change the switch & get the mirroes & plug in! Thanks everyone!
