Heated Mirrors Activate?

I've read on this forum and on my sticker that the limited Ex has heated power/fold mirrors. In the user's manualit shows a mirror with a heated icon. I have the BLISS system and do not see the icon, nor do I see a button in the interior to activate the heated mirrors. Previous vehicles I have owneed with heated mirrors required you to turn them on. How do I do this in the Ex?

By activating the rear defroster

FROM THE MANUAL

Heated outside mirrors (if equipped)
Both mirrors are heated automatically to remove ice, mist and fog when the rear window defrost is activated.


I can see how that manual could cause some confusion since the picture doesn't match the actual mirror. At least not on the mirror that has the BLIS.
