What a nice surprise!

I ordered my Ford Explorer in March, and the dealer called me April 4th to tell me it was scheduled for production - I should have it the last week of April. Well, he called today and it's in!! Earlier than we both expected. What a nice surprise. I will pick up on Friday and happily become a new Ford customer. Bye GM!

Excellent, good for you. About what date in March did you order? I ordered in late March and haven't heard anything yet; dealer is expecting it to schedule this week or next.

I placed my order with the dealer the very first week of March. I forget when he said he was going to find out his next allotment of vehicle orders, but at that time he didn't have it. He felt it would not be until mid-late March. So that's when I think my order actually got put into the mix. When he called on the 4th, I believe he said it was scheduled to be built the week of the 11th & anticipated delivery the last week of April. When I spoke with him today, he made it sound like Ford was picking up speed a bit with getting orders out. I hope yours arrives soon.
